Creating Global Sustainability Guidelines For Skincare Point Of Sale Displays.
One of the brands of a global cosmetics group was looking to reduce the impact of their retail displays (sourcing, material, fabrication and disposal) by choosing materials that could offer sustainability attributes.
HOW WE HELPED
Hyloh partnered with a company specialized in Life Cycle Assessments to create a guidelines document for materials that are suitable for the brand. The document outlined the advantages and disadvantages of the various options from a sustainability perspective, including how they are finished, used and disposed of. It also contained recommendations and specific material references. These guidelines are used to inform material choices for all points of sale globally (like a decision tree), and act as a reference when justifying the selection of a particular material.
